Dealing with a deadly and crippling disease – whether ours or a loved one’s – is probably one of the biggest trials life can give us. We are besieged with questions, many of them only God can answer. It is such a big deal that many lose faith and question God’s purpose. But illness is a part of our existence, and even though the end is not always what we pray it to be, our Lord is faithful and kind and is with us always.
