When People Gossip…

Audio Podcast

We’ve probably heard the saying “Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me”. But we often underestimate the importance of what we say and what other people say to us. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says about words and their power.

This message was originally delivered before a live audience at the Bulwagan ng Panginoon, Folk Arts Theater on August 10, 2008. For those who wish a copy for personal study, this message is available in audio cd and mp3 format at the Kaloob Bookstore.

My wife and I listened to this sermon and we’re truly blessed by God. Our eyes were opened and we begin to realize that unconsciously – we are party to gossiping whenever we listen and add our comments to it. From now on we’ll be very careful. Silence is really a virtue whenever gossips are spreading like wildfire. PRAISE GOD for the life of Ptr. Ed Lapiz.

Thanks God!!! There is technology for me to hear the word of wisdom from DaybyDay! I miss my Sunday service at the Folk Arts Theater and our Pastor Ed Lapiz. But my faith in God was tested when I came here in Canada. Praise God!!! Day by day God is there for all of us!!!

God bless you more pastor Ed and to the Day by day ministry.TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

truly the word of God is very powerful in our lives, in hearing this message, again i was visualizing that if only people of God and children of God will listen and follow his words our lives will be easier and simple, that why we need to listen and hear preaching from his words that will correct and direct us to live according to his will. again Pastor Ed thank you so much, you’re really a such blessing to us I thank God for giving you a talent and skills to preach and gift of teaching to all people. i really thank God for everytime i listened to your message, i really touched and get the point of the message. i could really relay on it also cause usually the topic or the title of your message is that the time it just happened to me or it happened to one of the families or things like that.

To God be the glory… for his unconditional love and for being our God. thank you for using you to minister to us again and again God bless Pastor Ed and the rest of your family and your brethren in Day by Day ministry… more power, and mabuhay po kyo.
